Anchor Intro Dave: TONIGHT WE ARE ON THE SCENE GETTING FEEDBACK
OF THE ELECTION THIS YEAR FROM LOCAL HOUSTONIANS. CHRISTIAN
MILLER IS WITH HOUSTON FASHION DESIGNER JALIN SCOTT SEEING
FIRST HAND HOW THIS 2020 PRESIDENTAL ELECTION HAS AFFECTED HIS LIFE.
C. MILLER: THANK YOU DAVE, IT IS A PLEASURE TO MEET WITH YOU MR
SCOTT, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE ELECTION THIS YEAR?
Jalin Scott: I dont pay attention too much to the publicity of
it all, but I have kept up with it.
C. MILLER SOT: DUE TO THE ABUNDANCE OF NEWS OUTLETS SEEN THROUGH
SOCIAL MEDIA IT IS HARD TO GET AWAY FROM THE CONSTANT MEDIA
COVERAGE ON THE 2020 PRESIDENTAL ELECTION.
C. MILLER: HOW HAS THIS ELECTION BEEN COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS
ELECTIONS?
Jalin Scott: I am not sure because this is my first time
voting.
C. MILLER: What caused you to vote this year?
Jalin Scott: This year felt more personal to me, plus since I
graduated (college), Ive had time to focus more on what is going
on around me. I was excited to vote, actually.
C. MILLER: THERE HAS BEEN RECORD TURN OUT FOR ESPECAILLY FOR
FIRST TIME VOTERS AS THE IMPORTANCE TO VOTE IS CONTINUALLY
PUSHED TOWARDS THE YOUTH YET THERE IS STILL DOUBT IN HOW THIS
ELECTION WILL PAN OUT.
C. MILLER: DO YOU THINK THIS ELECTION WILL CHANGE AMERICA?
Jalin Scott: No I do not think it will change anything, I think
everything will be pretty much the same.
